Maum (마음) is a digital sanctuary inspired by Won Buddhist practice.
It is a tool to check your mind, recognize grace, and return to your true self before sleep.
Based on the principle of Eun (Grace). By recording what we are thankful for, we shift our perspective from resentment to gratitude, recognizing the interconnected help we receive from the universe.
Practice Yumu-Nyeom (Heedfulness). Track specific habits or mental states. Did you act with a mindful heart (Yu-Nyeom) or a heedless heart (Mu-Nyeom)? Tally your frequency to improve over time.
Uphold your vows through the 30 Precepts. Select the specific items you are working on—from the Ordinary Grade to the Dharma Grade—and review them nightly to purify your conduct.
A subjective measure of your Mind's Clarity. Was your mind cloudy and distracted (0), or clear and focused (10)? Tracking this level helps you see the rhythm of your spiritual condition.
Cham-hoe (Repentance). A space to write freely about the sensory conditions that disturbed your mind, and how you returned to your original nature. Optionally share with a mentor for guidance.
Il-Sang Su-Haeng. Recite the 9 Essential Dharmas of Daily Practice. These checkpoints remind us to cultivate Spirit, Wisdom, and Action in every moment of our lives.
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just beginning to look inward, Maum provides the structure for your spiritual growth.
